GreenLancer publishes practical, accurate information for solar and electric vehicle (EV) charging contractors, plus homeowners and asset managers working with existing systems. Since 2013, our content has drawn on the same design, engineering, permitting, and interconnection work our platform delivers every day.
These guidelines explain who creates our content, how we research and review it, and how we keep it accurate as codes, incentives, and utility rules change.

Our Purpose
As demand for solar PV grew in the early 2010s, installers needed faster, more predictable access to system design, engineering, and permitting. GreenLancer was founded in 2013 to meet that need with standardized services, upfront delivery timelines, and competitive pricing for solar and EV charging contractors.
Today, GreenLancer also supports homeowners and financial institutions with solar repair and upgrade services, especially when the original installer has gone out of business. Whether it’s troubleshooting system performance, adding battery storage, or expanding an existing array, we make it easier to restore and improve solar investments.
Since 2013, GreenLancer has assisted over 7,500 contractors with 200,000 clean energy projects and $2.5 billion deployed in solar and EV charging stations nationwide. Who Creates Our Content
GreenLancer's blog is led by Sarah Lozanova, Content and Creative Marketing Lead. Sarah has more than 15 years of experience writing about clean energy and holds an MBA from Presidio Graduate School.
How We Keep Content Current
Codes, tax credits, and utility programs change often. We review time-sensitive articles about regulations, incentives, pricing, and manufacturer terms roughly every six to nine months and update them when facts change. Each article shows the date it was last substantively updated. Minor fixes such as typos don't change that date.

GreenLancer sells solar and EV charging design, engineering, and interconnection services, and some articles mention them. These mentions don't replace objective information, and our informational content, including FAQs, is written to stand on its own.
