Job Description

The Account Manager will manage and grow GreenLancer’s relationships with our new and existing solar, energy storage, telecommunications, and EV Charger Contractors. This will be accomplished by providing a high level of customer support over the phone and through the GreenLancer’s web application. The Account Manager will provide excellent Customer service to current customers and identify opportunities to grow existing business.

Responsibilities

● Sales and Performance Oversight:

a. Oversee sales goals, forecasts, and performance for the sales development

function.

b. Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards as set by the VP of

Sales.

● Lead Generation and Prospecting:

a. Dedicate a significant portion of time (33%) to prospecting and cold calling.

b. Generate leads and build relationships with potential channel partners.

● Market Research and Lead Management:

a. Define, measure, and reinforce best practices in market research, prospecting,

lead scoring, cold calling, webinars, lead nurturing, and onboarding.

b. Qualify and onboard inbound leads with a focus on pain points, decision-makers,

and budgets.

● Customer Relationship and Account Management:

a. Provide unparalleled customer service and support for high customer

satisfaction.

b. Handle customer inbound Calls, Quotes, Comments on the GreenLancer

platform during local business hours.

c. Respond to customer inquiries, return voicemails, and direct calls to appropriate

stakeholders.

d. Interact with and manage the GreenLancer Customer Relationship Management

system (CRM).

e. Grow existing customer accounts and identify new installer partnerships.

● Account and Partner Issue Resolution:

a. Manage assigned solar installer accounts to meet or exceed sales goals.

b. Identify, research, and resolve partner issues using analytical skills and

Sharpspring CRM.

c. Identify new solar installers that can benefit from GreenLancer’s solutions.

d. Onboard and train solar installers on GreenLancer’s solutions.

● Networking and Industry Participation:

a. Attend industry trade shows and conferences occasionally.

b. Conduct in-person visits to customer accounts as permitted.

Job Qualifications

● A Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on quantitative studies in Business,

Marketing, or Finance.

● At least one year of experience in sales, account management, or a similar role.

● Proven experience (minimum one year) in using Excel for data analysis and visual

representation of insights.

● Preferred: One year or more of experience with CRM software.

● Skilled communicator with a knack for building relationships and influencing external

partners.

● Team-oriented with a commitment to ethical behavior and a high level of integrity.

● Excellent organizational skills and adept in both verbal and written communication.

● Proficient in computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.

● Flexible and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.

● Possessing a highly positive attitude and a solutions-oriented mindset.
