6-30-2015 Everything You Need to Know About Intersolar 2015
The Intersolar North America exhibition and conference are just two weeks away. Intersolar is the most-attended solar exhibition in the US. It’s a place that’s great for networking, policy-making, and learning even more about the solar industry. Here’s everything you need to know about Intersolar.
What is Intersolar?
It’s a networking event and conference for solar industry professionals. This year, solar professionals are gathering to discuss photovoltaics, energy storage systems, PV production technologies, and solar thermal technologies. Intersolar is an important event for solar manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, and distributors.
This year’s conference boasts over 200 international speakers. Conference attendees can expect to learn the latest innovations in the fields of energy storage, PV, and solar heating/cooling. There will also be expanded focus on topics like financing, installation best practices, utility-scale solar, and energy storage.
How to Attend
The conference runs from July 13-15 at the InterContinental Hotel, San Francisco, CA. Onsite registration will be available for the event on Sunday, July 12 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m and Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, you don’t have to wait until then to register. The Intersolar exhibition runs from July 14-16 at the InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco. The exhibition will take place in three halls in the hotel. Start planning your exhibition program using the exhibition’s schedule of events. There will also be several exhibition workshops that attendees can select to participate in.
The Intersolar exhibition will also offer installation workshops for solar installers. Attendees will earn two NABCEP CEUs for each two-hour workshop (installers can earn eight maximum CEUs). This is a great opportunity for installers to keep up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices for installation, design, and maintenance of PV systems.
For just $95, installers have access all the installation workshop, an Expo Hall Pass, a light beverage, and 2 CEUs per workshop (8 maximum). For more information, and to register for the workshops, click here.
Meet GreenLancer at Intersolar
This year, several GreenLancer personnel will be attending the conference. They’re excitedly counting the days until the conference and wondering why they packed their bags two weeks early. The GreenLancer team is so ready, they’re debating whether or not to camp out at the airport.
Intersolar offers solar professionals excellent opportunities to learn more about the solar industry, meet other professionals, and gain valuable insights and experience unavailable elsewhere.
